These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Site and any services offered through it, including booking a free connection call and subscribing to our email list.
By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site and to book or receive coaching services. By using the Site, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
We offer life coaching services. Through the Site you can book a free connection call using our scheduling widget and subscribe to receive emails from us. Booking a call does not create a coaching agreement; the terms of any paid coaching engagement will be provided separately.
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, or medical, mental health, financial, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Vanessa Zook is a life coach, not a licensed therapist, physician, attorney, or financial advisor.
Our services are intended to support personal growth and goal-setting. They are not designed to diagnose, treat, or cure any physical or mental health condition. You are responsible for your own choices, decisions, and actions. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health condition, please consult a qualified licensed professional.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services or, in the U.S., call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline). Coaching is not crisis or emergency care.
We are committed to supporting you, but we cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcome or result. Your results depend on many factors, including your own effort, circumstances, and follow-through. Any examples or testimonials are not promises that you will achieve the same results.
If you subscribe to our email list or provide your email when booking, you consent to receive emails from us. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. We may still send you emails necessary to manage a call or service you have requested.
When you book a free connection call, please provide accurate information and arrive on time. We ask that you give reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so the time can be offered to someone else. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a call when necessary.
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, the "Becoming with Vanessa" name and branding, and any materials we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You agree not to use the Site to:
• Break any law or infringe anyone's rights
• Upload harmful code or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Site
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
The Site uses and may link to third-party services, including our scheduling and email platform (GoHighLevel/LeadConnector) and other linked websites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.
The Site and our services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vanessa Zook and Becoming with Vanessa will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for the service giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vanessa Zook and Becoming with Vanessa from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
